Rustic Living meets Raft Media: Simply Sailing

Fall is near. One of my most favorite things about this season is the feeling of change. You can already feel that crispness in the air and soon the leaves will be showing off their beautiful shades. Rustic Living has been going through a bit of change as well. 

It all started a few months back when my lovely sis-in-law Audrey and I were discussing life and our futures over some coffee. You see, we have a lot in common: small business owners, bargain hunters, crafty homemakers, and dreamers. A bit about Audrey? Oh she's just one of the most talented photographers you'll find in this fine town. Raft Media Photography is becoming quite well known around these parts. From a high school senior wrapped in a golden sunset to the priceless look on the grooms face the first time he sees his bride, Audrey's pictures are stunning. She's also the blogger at the adorable Simply Small Town.

Back to coffee, we were just a few sips in and I noticed the super bright lightbulb dancing above Audrey's head...or was it my head? Either way, we were both thinking the same thing. A collaboration between Rustic Living and Raft Media. Together, we would create stylized sessions with Raft Media's beautiful photography and Rustic Living's handmade goods. This last weekend we created our first stylized session inspired by all things nautical: Anchors, boats, stripes, sand, and why not throw in a golden retriever too.

This is Simply Sailing.

We had so much fun "working" together! This is a great way to showcase Audrey's talented photography and the new handmade products I'm making for Rustic Living. We will have more stylized themes in the future and are looking forward to all the opportunities that are bound to come from this collaboration. Audrey also has a lovely new blog called Simply Small Town that you've just gotta see!
