It was time for another DIY Rustic Style session with the other Mrs. Choate. Audrey had the idea to create something cute and simple for displaying lots of photos. She had a large picture frame to use for the project and hopefully you recognize my "frame".... yep, its the top half of the rustic door my husband and I used to create our coffee table. It was perfect for this project!

Audrey started off by staining her frame to a darker wood.

My job was much easier since my frame already had the rustic look I wanted. So I grabbed some twine, hammer and nails...I found these cute tacks in our garage and thought they would look great...

Next, I measured where I wanted the twine to cross the frame and then hammered in the nails. I finished off with tightly wrapping the twine around the nails.

We're finished! I used clothespins and black & white photos to complete the frame : )

 Here is Audrey's frame....so cute!

Another round of DIY Rustic Style complete. Happy Friday!
